Kaden Morris is a high-upside 6-foot-8 NC State righty still waiting for his college breakout
Kaden Morris is an intriguing NC State RHP because of the rare size-and-projectability combo: he’s listed at 6-foot-8, 220 pounds, and was previously rated by Perfect Game as North Carolina’s No. 3 right-handed pitcher and No. 7 overall prospect. He did not appear in games for the Wolfpack in the 2025 season and was described in 2026 as a redshirt freshman with a low-90s fastball, making him more of a long-term development play than a finished product. If your team wants ceiling, frame, and patience, he’s worth the look; if you need instant innings, he’s probably not the plug-and-play answer just yet.
