Eddie Del Valle-Zayas brings swing-and-miss lefty upside, but command remains the hinge
In the 2026 season, the Delaware State junior LHP has flashed bat-missing ability—18 strikeouts in 19.2 innings in his roster bio, with season-long strikeout totals noted in conference box scores—but the results have been bumpy, with a high-ERA profile and several losses in heavy-use outings. What makes him interesting is the left-handed frame, starter’s workload, and the fact that he can run up strikeouts even when the stat line gets messy. If your team wants a competitive, durable arm with upside and a built-in development project, he’s worth a look.
