New Mexico State right-hander looking for cleaner command
Mihalinac is a live-armed **RHP** whose value comes from giving New Mexico State another strike-throwing option, but his most visible 2026 outing showed the rough edges still need polishing: in a Feb. 22, 2026 appearance versus NJIT, he allowed 4 hits and 6 earned runs in 1.1 innings with 3 walks and no strikeouts.[1] That profile suggests a pitcher with enough stuff to get interest, but whose immediate fit depends on tightening command and limiting traffic; right now, he reads more as a development arm than an instant-stabilizer.[1]
