Anthony Crenshaw Jr. brings Baylor a versatile, physical chess piece at linebacker
Crenshaw enters Baylor in 2026 as a transfer from Delaware with a reputation for flexibility, having played both safety and linebacker and even lined up across multiple secondary spots. In the 2025 season at Delaware, he logged 19 tackles, a tackle for loss, a pass breakup, and a fumble recovery across 12 games; in 2024, he added 21 tackles, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup. The appeal is his matchup versatility, coverage background, and steady, assignment-sound style, though he’s currently viewed more as a rotational depth piece than an instant star.
