In the 2023-24 season at North Carolina A&T, Naj Ashley-Emory was a 6-2 guard with limited minutes, posting 0.4 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game while shooting 33.3% from the field.[1][2] The clearest differentiator in the scouting notes is his frame and toughness: the Aggies described him as a talented scorer who likes the defensive end and has “incredible strength” for his size, after a JUCO stop where he averaged 14.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists at Compton College.[3][4] He looks like a fit for a team needing a physical backcourt piece with scoring instincts, but the current evidence says his impact depends on whether that JUCO production translates into a bigger Division I role.[3][4]
