Cooper Robinson brings pro-built size and strikeout upside to Xavier’s bullpen
In the 2025 season at Kentucky, Cooper Robinson logged a 7.24 ERA in 13.2 innings but still flashed swing-and-miss stuff, striking out 19 hitters for a 12.5 K/9 rate; Xavier lists the 6-foot-4, 220-pound righty as a graduate student with ideal starter’s frame and a power profile that can play up in relief. He looks like the kind of arm a staff bets on for velocity, mound presence, and untapped upside rather than a polished stat line.
