Christal Lopez brings strikeout-tested right-handed pitching to Fresno State
Christal Lopez is a **right-handed pitcher** whose calling card is run prevention and big-moment poise: in high school she posted a **1.60 ERA** with **122 strikeouts in 109.2 innings**, and she earned team **Defensive Player of the Year** honors in each of her first three seasons[1][2]. At Fresno State, she is a **depth-and-upside arm** who can help if you want a pitcher with proven command, durability, and a history of delivering under pressure, though her 2026 usage has been limited so far[4][7].
