Tyler Jacklich brings size, transfer upside, and a bruising RB profile to SJSU
In the 2025 season at West Virginia, Tyler Jacklich logged 8 carries for 36 yards, then arrived at San Jose State in 2026 as a redshirt junior and 6-foot-2, 220-223-pound back with a physical, downhill frame.[1][2][3] The fit is intriguing: his profile points to a power runner with enough burst to matter in space, while transfer trackers and depth-chart sites suggest SJSU views him as a real addition rather than just roster depth.[2][4][5]
