Robert Cartwright brings veteran guard steadiness to UC Irvine
Cartwright profiles as a composed, pass-first guard who knows how to help a team win possession by possession. In the 2018-19 season at UC Irvine, he averaged 7.1 points, 2.4 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 37 games, and he also finished the year with 87 assists while scoring in double figures 11 times[2][3]. The bigger selling point is his experience and reliability: a Stanford transfer who fit into a winning UCI group, defended, distributed, and could still pop for timely scoring when needed[2][7][10].
