Quinn Bentley brings left-handed power and infield polish to NC State’s 2026 mix
Bentley is an intriguing NC State infielder because of his bat-first profile and strong prep reputation: he was ranked the 7th-best player in North Carolina in 2024 by PBR and a 151st national prospect, while Perfect Game noted a 7.25-second sixty, a solid arm, accurate throws, and good lateral range at third base. He also carries the edge of a multi-sport competitor and a proven winner at Ashley High, where he earned all-area-type acclaim; in short, he looks like a high-upside, energetic fit if your team wants left-handed impact and dependable infield tools with room to keep growing.
