Trotter Enright is a steady, versatile bat who keeps the Dirtbags in the fight
In the 2026 season, Long Beach State infielder Trotter Enright has been a reliable contact-and-on-base presence, hitting .263 with a .386 OBP while adding 51 hits, 31 RBI, and 36 runs scored. His value goes beyond the box score: he’s a switch-hitting-style grinder with left-handed bat and right-handed arm, has already played multiple infield spots, and brings real lineup flexibility. As a sophomore, he looks like a fit for a team that wants defensive versatility, plate discipline, and a scrappy, high-energy competitor who can contribute without needing the spotlight.
