Shelton Harville brings live arm upside and projection to Grambling’s pitching mix
Shelton Harville is a freshman right-handed pitcher at Grambling State in the 2026 season, listed at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, and he has not yet posted recorded college stats[1][7]. His appeal is upside: as a prep arm, he was described as working in the 80–84 mph range with a cutter and usable breaking/offspeed mix, and earlier reports noted mid-to-upper-80s velocity for a young arm[2][13]. That profile suggests a competitive, projectable pitcher who could grow into a useful SWAC bullpen piece if the strike-throwing keeps sharpening[2][3].
