Chris Strout brings a power-lefty frame and strikeout bite to FDU’s bullpen
In the 2026 season, Chris Strout showed legit punchout upside for Fairleigh Dickinson, working 12.1 innings with 11 strikeouts in eight appearances and a 9.0 K/9 profile, while opening his FDU career with back-to-back scoreless outings against Georgetown and Iona[1][3][7]. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, he offers a big-bodied left-handed look that can be useful in matchup-heavy roles, and FDU also noted he was ranked the eighth-best pitcher in Connecticut before college[1].
