Sophie Schupp brings dependable infield versatility and steady contact value to SEMO
Sophie Schupp is a junior INF for Southeast Missouri State whose value comes from being a steady, adaptable bat-and-glove piece rather than a loud stat-stuffer: after a 2024 freshman season in which she hit .273 with 14 runs, 9 hits, 4 doubles and 8 RBI in 42 games, her 2026 production has been more modest at .161, but she still offers roster flexibility with starts at shortstop and second base, plus a reputation for being a disciplined, academically strong teammate. She fits a team that wants reliable depth, infield coverage, and a player whose best trait is consistency under pressure.
