Cole Taylor is a live-armed Elon freshman who’s already getting trusted innings
Taylor, a right-handed freshman for Elon in the 2026 season, has been used in real game spots early, including a perfect collegiate debut and a first weekend start, which says the staff already trusts him. His profile suggests a compact 5'9"/218-pound build and a strike-throwing, competitive approach, though the 2026 stat line shows some growing pains as he adjusts to Division I hitters. If your team wants a young arm with runway, mound composure, and room to develop rather than a finished product, Taylor is a name worth tracking.
