Georgia RHP Grant Edwards Brings Proven Innings, Strikeout Feel, and SEC Depth Value
Grant Edwards is a veteran right-hander who gives Georgia a low-drama, durable arm with real swing-and-miss ability: in 2025 at New Orleans, he made 15 starts and logged 73.0 innings with 67 strikeouts, and his track record also includes a 3-save season and 42 strikeouts in 42.1 innings. He profiles as a competitor who can handle multiple roles, which matters for a bullpen or staff looking for experience and flexibility. The main question is command/efficiency, but his workload history and strikeout totals make him a useful fit for teams needing an experienced righty who can soak up innings.
