Ryan Weller has been a steady workhorse on USI’s mound in 2026
In the 2026 season, Southern Indiana right-hander Ryan Weller has shown real starter value: he delivered an eight-inning shutout effort against UT Martin and has multiple outings of six or more innings, with his best stretches coming when he attacks the zone and keeps hitters off-balance. He’s not just a numbers guy — the 6-foot-3 junior from Phoenix brings durability, poise, and a clear “give us a chance every Friday” vibe. The fit looks strong if a team wants an innings-eating pitcher who can battle and compete.
