Veteran Hampton forward with size, touch, and depth-value upside
Branden Aughburns is a familiar, experienced frontcourt piece for Hampton, listed as a forward and bringing long-term program familiarity dating back to his earlier Pirates seasons. In his 2015-16 Hampton campaign, he appeared in 18 games and posted 0.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game, with a career-high nine points at Quinnipiac; that’s not box-score fireworks, but it does show he can give steady minutes when needed. His value is mostly in his size, positional versatility, and ability to bolster frontcourt depth rather than headline usage, making him the kind of fit teams like for grit, insurance, and practice-to-game reliability.
