Erick Almonte is a high-contact, on-base sparkplug for Bethune-Cookman
In the 2026 season, Erick Almonte has been a dynamic middle-of-the-order catalyst for Bethune-Cookman, posting a .315/.447/.470 line with 63 hits, 49 RBI, and 26 walks across 256 plate appearances. He pairs switch-hit balance with real run-production upside, and his recent SWAC Hitter of the Week stretch—eight hits, 10 RBI, and a grand slam in four games—shows he can flip a series in a hurry. The fit? If you want a gritty, versatile infielder who gets on base and brings some pop, he’s your guy.
