Charlie Meglio brings middle-order pop and matchup juice to Rutgers
In the 2026 season, Charlie Meglio has been a big-bodied, right-handed INF who can change a game fast: he opened the year as a Big Ten Player to Watch and delivered a monster 4-for-5, 2-HR, 7-RBI explosion at Virginia Tech, then stayed productive in series play with extra-base hit upside and run production. Rutgers and multiple previews highlighted his transfer pedigree from Campbell, where he hit 21 home runs and drove in 69 runs across two seasons. He looks like a fit for teams wanting power, RBI impact, and a confident bat with real damage potential.
