Chase Morgan is Louisiana’s polished lefty ace with real Friday-night stuff
In the 2025 season, Chase Morgan entered Louisiana as the Sun Belt Preseason Pitcher of the Year after earning Freshman All-America honors in 2024, when he led the SBC in ERA and ranked among the league’s toughest arms to square up. He stands out for command, poise, and bat-missing ability, plus the kind of competitive edge that shows up in big spots—he even fired an 11-strikeout gem as a freshman. If you want a durable, high-upside LHP who already has proven Friday starter traits, he’s a very loud yes.
