Massive, early-enrolled Broncos tackle with real upside
KJ Kotalik is a towering 6-foot-8, 328-pound redshirt freshman offensive lineman for Western Michigan who early-enrolled in January 2025 and got spring football reps, which is usually a strong sign the staff wants to fast-track him.[3][13] He arrived as a three-star recruit and first-team all-state performer, so the upside is obvious: size, length, and a resume that suggests he can become a true power-scheme road grader if his technique catches up.[3] Why care? He looks like a developmental OL with starter traits, especially if you value big-body pass protection and run-game strain, but he’s still at the “bet on the traits” stage rather than the finished-product stage.[2][3]
