Breyllin Suriel brings swing-and-miss upside, but command volatility has defined his 2025-26 profile
Suriel is a right-handed starter/reliever for Indiana State whose appeal is a history of missing bats and handling volume, including 37 strikeouts in MVC play in 2025 and a 42:15 strikeout-to-walk ratio during his 2024 season at MACU. He can work deep enough to matter in a rotation or multi-inning role, but his 2025 results were uneven, with a 7.76 ERA, an 0-6 record, and a .283 opponent average. He fits best as a developmental arm with strikeout upside, not a finished product.
