Reese Torres adds veteran, high-IQ catching depth for Louisiana Tech
Reese Torres profiles as a dependable, team-first catcher with real offensive upside and a strong academic track record; Louisiana Tech lists her as a 2025 NFCA Scholar-Athlete and 2025/2026 CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll honoree, and her earlier production at George Washington included seven multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games over two seasons. She also brings maturity and resilience after missing the 2025 season due to injury, which makes her a compelling fit for a program wanting a composed backstop who can contribute beyond the box score.
