Carlie Wilkins is giving UAB a timely lefty spark in the infield
In the 2026 season, UAB senior utility player Carlie Wilkins has shown real pop and clutch value, highlighted by her first career home run on April 2 and a five-RBI, grand-slam game on April 19—the most RBI by a UAB player this season. She’s a versatile 5-foot-5 left-handed bat who can move around the field, and her steady development from limited early action to a productive senior role makes her a useful fit for a team that values depth, toughness, and an energizing bench-to-lineup presence.
