Jett Wright is emerging as a high-upside arm for Cal
In the 2026 season, California freshman right-hander Jett Wright has flashed real value in relief and spot duty, including a first career win with four strikeouts over two innings against USF and a pair of scoreless, hitless innings with two strikeouts against UC Davis[3][9]. At 6-foot-7 and 195 pounds, he brings a projectable frame and a starter’s look, but his early-season outings show he’s still ironing out command and consistency, as shown by a rougher first career start against Stanford[2][11]. If you want a young arm with legit upside and some volatility, he’s worth caring about.
