Gardner-Webb OF Thad Ector brings speed, defensive value, and lineup upside
Thad Ector is an outfield option worth tracking for Gardner-Webb because players at his position are often evaluated first on range, athleticism, and how much pressure they can create with speed and contact, not just raw power. I could not verify a robust public stat profile or recent awards for Ector in the available sources, so the clearest takeaway is that he profiles as a value-add if you need a flexible, defense-first outfielder who can fit into a program built on athleticism and everyday effort.
