Devante Carter brings veteran shot-making and a steady guard presence to Nicholls
Devante Carter, a senior guard at Nicholls, looks like a useful backcourt fit because he offers proven production, poise, and the kind of late-game confidence that showed up in a career night against Hampton while helping Norfolk State to a win. The biggest appeal is his ability to elevate an offense with experience and composure rather than just raw athleticism, which can matter in close games and lineups that need a stabilizing hand. Reliable scouting detail is limited in the available results, so his current profile is best read as that of an experienced, offense-leaning guard with winning-game upside.
