UMBC RHP Owen Shaprow: Projectable arm with live-game experience
Shaprow is a 6'2", 190-pound right-hander in UMBC’s 2026 baseball roster who has already logged competitive innings in summer and showcase settings, including work for TEAM XP and Blue Chips, suggesting he is battle-tested beyond the college roster page alone.[1][2] Reliable public sources do not provide a full college stat line yet, so the best read is that he offers projection, size, and mound experience more than a proven statistical résumé at this stage.[1][2] If you want an arm to develop, monitor, and potentially add depth to a staff, he looks like a reasonable fit; if you need an immediately established weekend starter, the public evidence is not there yet.[1][2]
