Adrian Beltre Jr. brings two-way upside, bat-to-ball skill, and big-league bloodlines to USD
Adrian Beltre Jr. entered 2026 as a sophomore infielder/right-handed pitcher for San Diego after earning 2025 All-WCC Freshman Team honors and hitting .257 with 4 home runs and 28 RBIs in 44 games; he opened 2026 hot with a 3-for-4, 2-RBI game at Charlotte before an injury limited him to just three contests, though those games showed the profile that matters: contact ability, gap power, on-base skills, defensive versatility, and a competitive edge that teammates and coaches clearly trust. The fit is real if a team wants a multi-positional, two-way piece with upside and swagger.
