Versatile Gardner-Webb OF with defensive value and speed
Haley Yeary is a 5'9" left-right outfielder for Gardner-Webb whose value is more about reliable, game-changing details than raw offense: in 2025 she played in 23 games with eight starts, after appearing in 31 games with two starts in 2024, and she showed run-scoring utility plus a stolen base in that earlier season. She also flashed defensive instincts with a throw-out at home against Longwood in 2026, suggesting she can help teams with range, arm action, and alert situational play; the fit is strongest for clubs wanting an energetic, versatile depth piece who can impact innings without needing the ball to leave the yard.
