steady Vermont lead guard with proven scoring touch and playmaking feel
Carissimo was a reliable backcourt engine for Vermont, crossing 1,000 career points and pairing modest scoring with real distribution value; in his senior season, he averaged 4.4 points and 1.9 rebounds while ranking third on the team with 46 assists, then lifted his scoring to 6.5 points per game in select contests. His best fit is as a composed, pass-first guard who can organize an offense, handle the ball, and chip in efficiently rather than dominate usage.
