Ariyah Smith is the Golden Eagles’ steady two-way engine at guard
In the 2025-26 season, Ariyah Smith has been a key newcomer for Cal State LA, starting all 29 games, averaging 9.1 points and a CCAA-best 5.4 assists per game while logging 933 minutes. She brings real point-guard value: pace control, distribution, and enough scoring punch to keep defenses honest. Last season at Cal State East Bay, she earned All-CCAA Honorable Mention, led her team in assists and steals, and showed she can create pressure on both ends. At 5'3", she plays bigger than the frame—quick, feisty, and tough to ignore.
