Elon OL James Shaffer: Big-frame developmental lineman with no varsity game log yet
Shaffer is a 6'5", 282-pound offensive lineman whose appeal is mostly in his long-term upside: he has a strong build for the position, played three years of varsity football in high school, and earned captain status, but Elon’s official roster shows he has not played in a college game yet, so he’s still a projection rather than a proven on-field producer. That makes him more of a fit for a team that values size, development, and coaching upside over instant-impact production.
