Josey Marron brings strikeout stuff and SEC-tested poise in the circle
Marron profiles as a battle-tested SEC pitcher whose calling card is strikeout ability with strong command; in 2024 she logged 88 strikeouts and ranked second on Mississippi State with a 3.68 ERA, while also walking just 5.4% of batters, which placed her among the SEC’s best. She’s shown she can work in high-leverage spots, including a first career no-hitter and multiple long outings against top competition. For a team, she looks like a fit if you want a competitive, innings-absorbing arm who can miss bats and handle pressure.
