UTEP’s Swiss Army Knife is Back in the Mix
Kam Thomas brings rare versatility and playmaking juice for UTEP, flashing as a receiver, runner, and returner; in the 2024 season he tied for the team lead with 47 catches for 532 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he also added 871 all-purpose yards with a 93-yard punt return TD. After a 2025 ACL injury that cut his season short, he returned to spring practice in 2026, which makes him a high-upside fit for a team that wants a dynamic, multi-role weapon with real big-play and special-teams value.
