Jordyn Fray gives San José State a steady right-handed arm with scholarship-level consistency
In the 2026 season, Jordyn Fray emerged as a useful piece for San José State in the circle, appearing in 19 games with seven starts and earning her first win on March 28 at Nevada after 4.1 innings of two-strikeout work. She’s a 5-foot-10 right-handed pitcher from Las Vegas with Stony Brook background and Mountain West Scholar-Athlete recognition, which points to both athletic and academic reliability. Fray looks like a fit for teams that value composure, innings flexibility, and a pitcher who can settle games down without needing the spotlight.
