Nigel McSween brings Villanova a 6'4", 250-pound pass-rush presence
McSween looks like a useful DL fit for Villanova because he combines size, speed, and strength, and the Wildcats specifically describe him as a defender who can provide a strong pass rush. In 2024, he played all 14 games and produced 28 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks, which points to disruptive upside rather than just gap-eating bulk. He also has a multi-sport background in shot put and discus, a hint of the explosiveness and power that can translate well to the line.[3][4]
