Energy forward with size, hustle, and a growing role at Drake
Samake is a 6-foot-8 frontcourt piece whose value is built on activity, rebounding, and willingness to do the dirty work rather than big-volume scoring; in the 2022-23 season, he played in 28 games and averaged 2.1 points and 2.1 rebounds, with a late-season uptick in minutes that suggests trust from the staff. He’s a fit for teams needing a physical, low-maintenance forward who can defend, finish around the rim, and bring effort-level consistency more than shot creation.
