Rachael Morales emerged as a freshman impact bat and steady right-field presence for Iona
Morales made an immediate jump as a freshman in 2026, earning MAAC All-Rookie Team and All-Championship Team honors while starting 52 games primarily in right field. She combines a left-handed bat with a high-contact profile and speed-driven value, with reports noting a .351 average early in the year and a breakout week that earned her a second MAAC Rookie of the Week nod. For a team, her appeal is simple: she looks like a dependable everyday outfielder with upside, competitive edge, and proven rookie-year production.
