Ian McCubbin is Morehead State’s middle-order engine, and the numbers are doing some heavy lifting
In the 2026 season, McCubbin has been one of Morehead State’s most dangerous bats, earning OVC Player of the Week after opening with a .500 average, 2 homers, and 6 RBI in the first series, then finishing the year with 13 home runs and 55 RBI while hitting .360 overall. He pairs legitimate power with run production and clutch damage—think big swings, timely doubles, and a 22-game on-base streak—making him a strong fit for teams that want a physical, impact bat who can change a game fast.
