Mitchell is a polished 6-foot-5 guard who already looked NBA-ready at UCSB, and his calling cards are efficient scoring, calm decision-making, and a strong feel for when to attack or facilitate. In 2022-23, he was the Big West Player of the Year and a three-time All-Big West selection, helping lead UCSB to two NCAA Tournament trips and finishing as one of the program’s top 10 scorers; he also showed he could bounce back from an early ankle injury and deliver in big moments.
