Gia Felice is UC Davis’s leadoff spark plug — and she’s been scorching in 2026
In the 2026 season, Gia Felice has been a table-setter with pop, leading UC Davis with a .371 average, 59 hits, and a leadoff role that helped power a first-ever Big West Championships berth for the program. She broke out in late March with a program- and Big West-record-tying 5-for-5 game, then earned Big West Field Player of the Week honors. At 5'3", she’s not a power-first bat, but her speed, bat-to-ball skill, and ability to pressure defenses make her a nasty fit for any lineup that values contact, chaos, and consistency.
