Owen Morgan is a versatile Oregon freshman who gives you contact, speed, and defensive flexibility
In the 2026 season, Owen Morgan played in 21 games for Oregon, mostly as a pinch hitter, while also seeing time at second base, left field, and right field; he hit 1-for-15 with three runs, four walks, and one stolen base. What makes him intriguing is the toolkit: a left-handed bat, multi-position value, and enough athleticism to stick on the field even while the offense develops. He looks like a high-floor, utility-style piece who can help a roster with flexibility, speed, and hustle.
