Boise State freshman LB Adam Auston brings versatility, length, and a high-upside frame
Adam Auston enters Boise State as a 2026 freshman linebacker with legit multi-position juice: he was a three-star recruit, a top-20 prospect in Oklahoma, and scouts praised his awareness and above-average functional athleticism. In his senior season at MacArthur, he posted 70 tackles and five interceptions, returning two for touchdowns — the kind of playmaking that pops off the tape. At 6-foot-1, 235 pounds, he looks like a physical, flexible defender who can grow into multiple roles. He’s not a stat-heavy college producer yet, but he profiles as a smart, disruptive fit with real upside.
