Jeff Beverly brought veteran toughness and glass-cleaning grit to Iowa State
In the 2017 season, Jeff Beverly gave Iowa State a reliable veteran forward presence: 28 games, 18 starts, 4.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per game, with a highlight 11-point, 15-rebound double-double at Oklahoma. He wasn’t a volume scorer, but he was efficient enough to help space the floor and steady enough to earn trust in the rotation after transferring in. If you value a physical, experienced, no-drama role player who can battle on the boards and give consistent minutes, Beverly fit the bill.
