Owen Pike is a local, projectable right-hander with a grind-first profile at Central Connecticut
In the 2026 season, Owen Pike is a Central Connecticut pitcher who earned his college opportunity as a hard-working, close-to-home commitment and is viewed as a projectable arm with a lean, long frame and athletic delivery. Recruiting coverage described him as a 6-foot, 140-pound right-hander with a quick path to the plate and a “no-brainer” fit for CCSU because of his work ethic and comfort level with the staff. He looks like a developmental fit: not a flashy stat monster yet, but the kind of pitcher coaches like to mold.
