Ripepi brings middle-of-the-order power and clutch value for Gardner-Webb
Drew Ripepi, a 6-foot-0, 225-pound right-handed infielder for Gardner-Webb, profiles as a physical bat with legitimate run-production pop and a history of delivering in key moments. In the 2026 season, he helped spark a dramatic late rally with a two-run single against App State, underscoring his value in high-leverage spots, and D1Baseball lists him at a strong .284/.418/.530 line with a .948 OPS for Gardner-Webb. His combination of size, on-base ability, and RBI upside makes him a fit for teams needing a tough, impact-ready corner infielder rather than a pure speed-and-contact profile.
