Hailey Gilbertson brings speed, outfield versatility, and a disciplined bat to UNLV
Gilbertson looks like a useful under-the-radar add for UNLV because she combines outfield flexibility with a patient, contact-oriented offensive profile; in 2026 at UNLV, her advanced batting line shows an even 12.3% walk rate and 12.3% strikeout rate, which suggests she is controlling the zone rather than just chasing power[3]. Recruiting listings also show she can handle all three outfield spots and was committed to UNLV out of high school, while recent game coverage highlights her ability to impact the game on the bases with three steals in one outing[1][2].
