Mason Ball is trending up as a tougher, more disruptive piece on ETSU’s defensive front
In the 2025 season, Mason Ball played in all 12 games for ETSU, finished with five tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss, and also contributed on special teams; in 2024, he flashed with two tackles, including a TFL, in his debut against UVA Wise. At 6-foot-4 and about 284 pounds, he brings length, power, and the kind of high-motor intensity coaches love, with local roots and proven winning pedigree from Elizabethton’s 2020 state-title team. The appeal: he looks like a dependable rotational DL who can keep climbing if he turns camp buzz into game-day impact.
